About the Job.
We are growing quickly and looking for a vCIO who can help guide our clients at a strategic level. The vCIO plays an essential role in helping organizations plan, budget, and align their technology with their business goals. You will work directly with company leaders and our internal team to build long-term technology strategies that reduce risk, strengthen security, and support business growth.
A great vCIO understands how to blend technical knowledge with practical business insight. You should be able to communicate clearly, build trust with clients, and help them make confident decisions about their technology future.

What We’re Looking For
A strong vCIO who enjoys building relationships and helping clients plan their technology future. Someone who can understand how a business operates, identify risks and opportunities, and create a technology roadmap that supports long-term success.
You should be comfortable working with owners, executives, and decision makers. You should be confident but approachable, able to simplify complex ideas, and enjoy guiding clients toward better technology decisions. You should also work well with our internal team to ensure that our service delivery matches the strategy you set.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain technology roadmaps for assigned clients.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and other strategic client meetings.
- Develop and manage IT budgets and long-term financial planning.
- Identify risks, gaps, and areas for security or infrastructure improvement.
- Review client environments and recommend technology upgrades or changes.
- Help guide clients through compliance, cybersecurity, and business continuity planning.
- Coordinate with vendors and assist clients with major technology decisions.
- Work closely with our internal teams to ensure alignment with each client's strategy.
- Build strong relationships with client leadership teams and key decision makers.
- Ensure that clients receive proactive guidance and a clear plan for their technology.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud environments, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Ability to plan strategically and create long-term technology roadmaps.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable leading meetings with executives and business owners.
- Ability to simplify complex technology concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Organized and detail oriented with strong documentation habits.
- Experience working in an MSP environment is a plus.
- Able to manage multiple client relationships at once.
